Addus Homecare is hiring a nurse aide to provide compassionate personal care to patients in their homes in Tennessee. The role includes baths, hygiene assistance, vital signs, and basic nursing tasks under supervision.

A state nurse aide certification and CPR are required, along with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. You will work with a dedicated team to support patients recovering from illness or surgery, ensuring dignity and quality home care.

Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Meets the training requirements and completes them.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must have CPR certification, or equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and appropriate automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on personal care including baths, oral hygiene, transfers, and assisting with dressing.
• Taking and recording vitals as ordered (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Performing simple nursing procedures as ordered (with skills competency).
• Assisting patients in self-administration of medication.
• Reporting patient condition changes to the assigned nurse or case manager.
