Job summary

Boston Medical Center South is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in Med/Surg 2B. The schedule is 32 hours on days, every other weekend, part-time, with benefits eligible.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, MA CNA license (or enrollment in nursing school with relevant courses) and prior CNA experience; CPR is preferred, along with strong English communication and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Massachusetts CNA license or enrollment in accredited nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing I & II completed is required.
• Prior CNA experience preferred; CPR knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Attend to the personal needs of patients across age groups, addressing impairment-specific needs.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times and communicate effectively with staff and patients.
