Job summary

Liberty Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct nursing activities for residents in Long Term Care, aligning with accreditation standards and state regulations. You will support adolescent, adult and geriatric residents, refer unusual clinical problems to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, and report to the Director of Nursing.

Current Georgia CNA registry and BLS certification within 90–120 days are required.

Qualifications

• Education must be equivalent to completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant program.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Current CNA registry in Georgia within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing activities for residents in Long Term Care.
• Ensure safe and efficient provision of services for adolescent, adult and geriatric residents.
• Refer unusual clinical problems to the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Follow accreditation standards, and state regulations under supervision.
