Job summary

ArchCare in New York seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate resident care under the supervision of an RN or LPN, helping residents with daily living activities and comfort needs across home, community, and nursing home settings.

Duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, transferring, and reporting changes to supervisors, while upholding quality of care and compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current NY State Certified Nursing Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.
