Job summary

Mint Hill Senior Living in Mint Hill, NC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA provides direct resident care, assists with activities of daily living, monitors health, and supports the nursing team to promote residents' health, safety, and dignity.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completed CNA training, and at least 1 year of healthcare or long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care preferred.
• Active CNA certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Measure and record vital signs; observe changes and report to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist with basic emergency care when needed.
