Job summary

Signature HealthCARE South Pittsburg Rehab & Wellness Center seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed nursing supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment in line with facility policies.

Qualifications

Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
Customer service oriented with ability to work well under pressure.
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
Ambulate and transfer residents using assisting devices and proper body mechanics.
Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
Turn and position residents regularly and support resident rights and choices.
Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned duty areas and respond to call lights promptly.
Assist in orientation and training of other staff when requested.
Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
