Job summary

Avir at Whitehall in Crockett, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. The CNA will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and ensure accurate documentation in our facility records.

You will collaborate with licensed nurses and interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans, support residents, and promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current Texas CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including vital signs and daily living activities.
• Assist with medication administration and treatment plans under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Identify and report any changes in patient condition or needs to the nursing team.
