Job summary

Blue Ridge Care in Virginia is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its dedicated care team. The CNA provides essential personal care, assists patients with daily activities, and supports the nursing staff to promote comfort and safety.

The role requires observation, documentation, and compassionate interaction with patients and families. Candidates must be VA-licensed CNA with CPR certification and a high school diploma if possible; some home-care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• VA-licensed CNA required or currently licensed in VA.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Self-directed with ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients, including baths, oral hygiene, and grooming.
• Assist patients with dressing, feeding, and daily activities as assigned.
• Take and record oral, rectal, and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure as ordered.
• Observe and report any significant changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Keep patient living areas clean and assist with light housekeeping and documentation.
