Job summary

Oakwood Gardens Care Center in Fresno, CA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time position. You will provide routine daily nursing care and assist with activities of daily living per care plans, while maintaining residents' dignity and safety. The role requires compassion, reliability, and English communication skills; CPR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plan.
• Identify residents with wristbands or photo IDs before care.
• Record resident care, observations, and activities accurately.
• Report changes to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support resident mobility and transfers.
• Observe for pressure injuries and report immediately.
• Assist with meal service and document intake.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Support residents emotionally and create a calm environment.
• Respect residents’ rights, including the right to refuse treatment.
