Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Nurse Aide from Virginia is required.
• Prior work experience as Nurse Aide is preferred.
• CDP designation and completion of Agape CNA Skills Review required within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents promoting their independence and safety.
• Observe and report unusual symptoms or signs of illness.
• Assists with personal care, including bathing and toileting.
• Administers meals and assists residents in meal intake.
• Documents care provided using MyUnity Point of Care.

Skills

Effective communication in English

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Experience with health care equipment

Education

Valid certification as a Nurse Aide from Virginia

CDP designation
