Job summary

South Plains Rural Health Services seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Big Spring clinic team. You will assist in delivering efficient, compassionate outpatient care and support providers in a busy setting.

The role requires CNA certification and a high school diploma; prior medical office experience is preferred. All staff comply with annual influenza vaccination policy and related safety protocols.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information.
• Assist providers and nursing staff with patient care.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies.
• Assist with patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Document appropriate information in the electronic health record.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
• Perform additional clinical duties within the scope of your certification and training.
