Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
• Graduate of Maine State Board approved CNA course; Registered with Maine CNA Registry.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral care, grooming, toileting, eating).
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment.
• Facilitate basic therapy tasks and range-of-motion exercises as needed.
• Assist with mealtime nutrition and hydration.
• Maintain a clean, organized resident environment and infection control practices.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and provide compassionate care.
• Document vital signs and care provided accurately.
