Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing in the relevant state.
• Previous experience in long-term care or senior living preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds; physical work is a primary part of the job.
• Able to stand, bend and walk for extended time periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to residents under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.
• Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Keep residents dry and manage linens and clothing as needed.
• Assist residents with lifting, positioning, and transporting them in beds, chairs, or lifts.
• Accurately measure and record heights, weights, temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures as instructed.
• Ensure call lights are within reach and answered promptly.
