The Waters of Rushville in Rushville, IN is actively seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily nursing care to residents per their care plans and supervision. You will be entrusted with delivering compassionate care and accurate documentation of observations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active CNA certification in Indiana.
• Demonstrates genuine care for elders and those with self-care needs.
• Mental and physical ability to perform the essential functions.
• Ability to work with diverse resident personalities.
• Shows initiative and sound judgment in decision-making.
• Maintains courteous, empathetic, and professional attitude.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Maintains confidentiality of all activities and records.
• Clear communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Transportation available to accommodate scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks according to facility policies and supervisor directions.
• Follows work assignments and schedules.
• Prepares resident rooms for incoming residents.
• Inventories and marks residents' personal possessions.
• Assists with dressing and undressing.
• Assists with hair care and nail care.
• Keeps residents clean and dry; makes beds.
• Maintains intake and output records.
• Assists in preparing for medical tests.
• Supports activities and social programs.
• Monitors residents' care needs and wishes.
• Provides post-mortem care as instructed.
