Job summary

Addus Homecare in New Mexico is urgently hiring Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to support seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, medication reminders, therapy exercises under supervision, and provide compassionate companionship in a safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training and certification.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.
• Reliable, energetic, self‑motivated and well‑organized.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medications at appropriate times.
• Assist with therapy exercises under supervision of a Registered Therapist.
• Assist with personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming and dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a safe, clean home environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and stimulation (reading, walks) and accompany clients to appointments.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
• Turn or reposition bedridden patients, and examine for bruises or injuries.
