Job summary

This employee role requires 36 scheduled weekly hours with shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED, with South Carolina CNA licensure and AHA BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Help ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean, organized patient space.
• Assist with transporting patients to tests and procedures.
• Serve and collect meal trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
• Record temperature and vital signs as directed by nursing staff.
• Support the nursing team with a variety of patient care activities.
