Job summary

Southwest LTC is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Aides to join Heritage at Brandon Place in Oklahoma City, OK. CNAs provide direct patient care to elderly and medically complex residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring comfort and dignity.

The ideal candidate holds an active CNA certification in Oklahoma, with prior skilled nursing or rehab experience and a patient-centered, team-oriented approach to care.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Oklahoma.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Provide emotional support and maintain a respectful and compassionate environment.
• Ensure residents’ rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Assist nursing staff with other duties as assigned.
