Job summary

Broadway-Healthcare-Center is urgently hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in line with the facility's assessment plan and regulatory standards, under supervision.

The role includes answering call lights, assisting with daily activities, feeding, grooming, transfers, and documenting resident data with HIPAA privacy. Strong English skills and a willingness to learn are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter resident data.
• Follows privacy and HIPAA requirements in handling resident information.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights and provide nursing care in privacy.
• Make residents comfortable (assist with bed, water, etc.).
• Assist in feeding residents (cut food, spoon feed).
• Help residents with grooming, showers, or sponge baths.
• Assist with transfers and mobility (lift, sit, stand, walk).
• Transport residents to dining area and back to room.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Protect resident files and data under HIPAA; follow facility policies.
