Job summary

NEXTAFF in Iowa seeks dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team. CNAs provide direct patient care, support nursing staff, and help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents and patients.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing required.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience required.
• In-person BLS certification required.
• Willing to obtain TB test and work physical.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Support mobility and safe patient transfers.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Follow facility policies and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work atmosphere.
