Job summary

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or assisted living environment preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
• Support safe resident transfers, including lifting, positioning, and mobility assistance.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental status to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including changing linens and promoting hygiene.
• Deliver compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist during recreational activities to encourage engagement and activity.
• Monitor and assist with dietary needs and hydration.
• Accurately document care activities and daily logs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure high-quality outcomes.
