Job summary

Liberty Health and Rehab is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time day shift with on-call duties. The role includes assisting residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and ADLs, and supporting the charge nurse as needed.

Requirements include being 18+, listed in the DFS registry, and a demonstrated commitment to geriatric care. Training and staff meetings are part of the role, with background checks and a drug-free workplace policy in place.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified nursing assistant listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and ADLs during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene, including denture care, as needed.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including I&O.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
