Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Prior work or life experiences involving independent decision making.
• Prior healthcare experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and receive resident reports at start/end of shift.
• Provide personal/nursing care as per care plan.
• Facilitate and conduct activities for residents.
• Respond to resident requests in a dignified, respectful manner.
• Maintain a clean, pleasant resident environment.
• Assist in preparing residents for activities.
• Ensure all care is delivered respectfully and competently.
• Perform basic nursing procedures as required.
• Create comfortable, safe environments and meet resident needs.
• Support food service needs and timely meal delivery.
• Maintain documentation for activities of daily living and restorative programs.
• Follow policies, safety, and infection control standards; participate in training.
