Job summary

Lenoir Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lenoir, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. You will provide individualized care and support residents with daily living activities, under the supervision of licensed nurses.

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered CNA certification in North Carolina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well‑being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
