Qualifications

• Physically capable of safely moving/changing bed linens of patients unable to move themselves.
• Experience with ambulating patients is required.
• Must be dependable - call outs will not be tolerated.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
• Foster positive relationships between clients and their housemates.
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment.
• Remind/assist clients with medication self-administration.
• Encourage self-help activities.
• Document services provided.
• Perform home management functions such as light housekeeping.
• Plan meals, shop for groceries, prepare and serve food.
• Accompany clients to appointments.
• Transport clients or run errands.
