Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC's USC Verdugo Hills Hospital is seeking a Care Partner to support nursing staff in patient care delivery, clerical duties and unit organization. You will help set up and maintain equipment and assist care teams across the assigned unit.

The role requires a California Certified Nurse Assistant license or active enrollment in a nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing, 6–12 months CNA experience, BCLS, AB 508, and the ability to complete the EHR training.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nurse Assistant certification or active enrollment in an accredited nursing program with Fundamentals of Nursing course (B or better).
• Six months to one year CNA experience; acute care preferred depending on unit.
• Ability to pass USC Verdugo Hills Hospital EHR data entry training.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Ability to prioritize assignments under heavy workload.
