Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Trumbull, CT is hiring a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for the 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM), with Friday and Saturday scheduling available. You will deliver resident care in a warm, home-like environment and support daily activities and emotional well-being.

Requirements include a valid CNA/HHA/LNA license. Prior skilled nursing or assisted living experience is preferred, with dementia care experience a plus; benefits include holidays, tuition reimbursement, and

Qualifications

Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
Other duties as needed.
