Job summary

Bethea Retirement Community in Darlington, SC is seeking heart‑led CNAs to join our caregiving team. Choose Day Shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) or Night Shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and provide hands‑on care, comfort, and companionship that help residents feel at home.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, vital signs, dining, and helping residents maintain dignity, with supportive management and comprehensive benefits. Active SC CNA certification required; CPR/BLS preferred; experience in SNF/LTC is a plus,

Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of South Carolina (or eligible for reciprocity).
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care setting is a plus; new graduates with a strong work ethic and passion for seniors welcome.

Responsibilities

Direct Daily Care: assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene) with dignity.
Mobility Support: help residents transfer, walk, and position safely using proper mechanics.
Vital Signs & Monitoring: take and record vital signs, weights, and daily tasks; report changes to Charge Nurse.
Dining Assistance: assist with meal setup, feeding and monitoring fluid/nutrition intake.
Community & Connection: maintain clean rooms and foster warm relationships with residents and families.
