Job summary

QuarterLine, a PSI company, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support at Madigan Army Medical Center, JBLM, WA. The CMA will manage patient information, assist with examinations, injections, and specimen collection in a fast-paced military healthcare setting.

Candidates must be CMA certified with BLS, at least one year of recent outpatient experience, and meet government qualification and security requirements. DUTY LOCATION: MAMC, JBLM, Tacoma, WA.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience within the last two years as a certified medical assistant.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient information in the EHR, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, medical history, and chief complaint.
• Prepare patients, examination rooms, treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for routine and specialty procedures.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, minor office surgeries, and other clinical procedures while maintaining aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Administer authorized injections, vaccinations, and medications as directed.
• Perform basic diagnostic tests such as ECGs and urine dipstick; assist with procedures following training.
