Job summary

Seniornest Homecare is seeking compassionate caregivers, Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for live-in and hourly cases in Paterson, NJ and surrounding counties. You will be supported by a Registered Nurse with decades of hands-on experience.

We offer 24/7 support, immediate openings, and flexible schedules. Earn $21+ per hour or $200+ per day for live-in shifts, with benefits and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience (facility or home care).
• Current PPD test and MMR vaccination record.
• Ability to read and follow a care plan and complete ADLs safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs according to the care plan.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to client care (tidying, laundry, meal assistance) as directed by the care plan.
• Follow the client’s individualized care plan and communicate changes in condition to the office or supervising nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and use appropriate infection control and PPE procedures.
