Job summary

Homestead of Abilene Assisted Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Duties include assisting with bathing, feeding, mobility, monitoring residents, and supporting activity participation.

The role requires complying with facility policies, maintaining resident confidentiality, and documenting care. Teamwork, reliability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Community policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist in admission and discharge of residents.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility.
• Perform and document vital signs and measurements.
