Responsibilities

• Provides residents’ personal hygiene by assisting with baths, showers, bedpans, urinals and grooming.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living including meals, feeding, ambulation and positioning.
• Transports residents to appointments and activities, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Serves meals, helps with food tray delivery and feeding as needed; documents intake.
• Maintains resident safety by following procedures and reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Keeps resident areas clean and stocked; handles linens and infection control practices.
