Job summary

Right at Home of Central New Jersey is seeking Skilled Certified Home Health Aides or Companion Caregivers to provide compassionate care in Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth Counties, helping seniors stay at home and age in place.

Responsibilities include daily living support, documenting patient data, and coordinating with nurses. We offer full-time, part-time and per-diem, with flexible scheduling, paid training, weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide a must
• 2-step PPD
• Physical within the last 12 months
• MMR
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Help patients with daily functions such as dressing or bathing.
• Record and report data as medically necessary.
• Assist with planning for doctor's appointments and transportation.
• Can perform facility work, hourly as well as live in.
• Light housekeeping, meal prep, grocery shopping.
• Report health status to nurses and teach self-care skills.
