Job summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a Transportation Associate in Newport News, VA to coordinate and execute all transportation needs for residents, including medical appointments and facility outings. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
• CDL license required upon hire.
• AED certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver transportation services for residents to medical appointments and facility outings.
• Maintain vehicle logs and perform basic vehicle upkeep.
• Coordinate with residents and staff to schedule routes while reducing mileage.
• Ensure safety practices in line with RHS policies.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and handle billing inquiries.
• Notify supervisor when maintenance is needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
