Job summary

Visiting Angels Greater Philadelphia is seeking caring, dependable caregivers in Ambler, PA to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, mobility support, meal prep, and light housekeeping.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling, day/evening/night shifts, and biweekly pay. Proof of vaccination is required for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Recent TB test or ability to complete TB testing.
• All applicants must be vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Help with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation when needed.
• Follow individualized care plans and client preferences.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition or needs.
• Encourage independence, dignity, comfort, and overall well-being.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Recent TB test or ability to complete the required TB testing
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet company requirements and complete required documentation
