Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Houston, TX is seeking a Caregiver for the River Oaks community. Shifts include 6am-2pm (Tue-Sat, full-time), 2pm-10pm (Fri-Mon, full-time), and 2pm-10pm (Sun-Mon, part-time). Pay is $16 per hour, non-exempt.

You will provide loving care to residents, assist with daily activities, maintain privacy and safety, and join a caring team with ongoing training in a family-like atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred and must read/write English.
• State-approved medication administration training and first aid certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and comfort.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist with mobility, grooming, bathing, and meals.
• Attend monthly in-service and staff meetings.
