Job summary

Visiting Angels Midland is seeking an Experienced Caregiver to support seniors in West Texas and the Permian Basin, including Midland and Odessa. You will provide companionship and help with daily tasks while committing to compassionate, patient-centered care.

This role offers on-site shifts with full-time or part-time options, ongoing training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care, and a community-focused team dedicated to improving quality of life for clients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Give clients medication reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
