Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a compassionate Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide in-home support with dignity and respect. You will assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of caregiving experience required.
• Compassionate, patient and dependable personality.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments, when applicable
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client
