Assisting Hands of Saginaw is seeking a qualified Caregiver to provide compassionate, professional care to clients in the local area. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

Candidates should have proven caregiver experience, CPR/first aid knowledge, and strong communication skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a focus on reliable schedule adherence and compassionate bedside manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
• Ability to follow instructions and perform varied tasks for client care.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from clients when able.
• Do client shopping or accompany them to shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents; act quickly in emergencies.
