Job summary

Sevita is seeking compassionate caregivers in Morganton, NC to provide person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and behavioral challenges, helping participants grow and live more independently in home and community settings.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt and multitask in a community-based setting
• Valid drivers license and access to a registered vehicle with insurance
• Compassionate and reliable with patient demeanor

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
• Help participants participate in community activities and goals
• Support budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals for participants
