Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes within the Rogue Valley region, including Medford and surrounding areas.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help clients live safely and independently. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed and grow in this role.

Qualifications

• Background check is required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship and emotional support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Helping maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
• Following care plans and documenting daily notes using the mobile app.
• Communicating effectively with the office team.

About the Role

As a Right at Home Caregiver, you'll help seniors and vulnerable adults continue living safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes. More than providing care, you'll offer companionship, build trust, and become an important part of someone's daily life.

Every shift is an opportunity to bring comfort, confidence, and peace of mind to the people who depend on you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating effectively with our office team.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for caring individuals who genuinely enjoy helping others and want to make a positive impact in their community.

You'll be successful in this role if you have:

• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

• Reliable transportation and a valid ID.

• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Previous caregiving, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not required. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you build your confidence and succeed in your role.
