Job summary

Generations Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our Sacramento assisted living team on a full-time, evenings PM shift. You will assist licensed staff, help residents with daily activities, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant, and to relate information about a resident's condition.

Responsibilities

• Provide care under supervision of licensed staff and assist CNAs and professional nursing staff.
• Deliver water, pitchers and ice to resident rooms; respond to call lights; assist residents and help with beds.
• Take residents to activities and meals.
• Keep patients' environment clean and organized (beds, stands, closets).
• Ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment; maintain clean service areas.
