Job summary

Trilogy Healthcare of Battle Creek LLC is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in our Assisted Living community, emphasizing safety, dignity, and HIPAA compliance. You will assist with daily activities and mobility, observe health changes, document care, and support families.

This non-exempt role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and to maintain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living regulations.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Completion of all required facility and regulatory training, including resident rights, infection prevention, abuse/neglect reporting, emergency procedures, and person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
• Observe and report changes in a resident's condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, mouth care, nail care and dressing.
• Assist guests with ambulation and transfers.
• Assist residents with eating, fluids and snacks.
• Monitor and support personal hygiene and toileting.
• Document care accurately and report concerns timely.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with residents, families and the care team.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing education.
