Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Nederland, TX is hiring caregivers to provide personalized in-home care to seniors and veterans in Nederland and surrounding communities. You will help clients maintain independence, dignity, safety and quality of life while they remain in their own homes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of caregiving experience
• Background check and drug screening required
• Valid Driver's License preferred
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Experience with gait belts and Hoyer lifts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance and support with daily activities
• Offer companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and walking
• Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks
• Provide medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and independent living environment
