Job summary

CareBuilders at Home – Kingston PA is seeking compassionate caregivers to serve clients in Taylor, Pittston, Dallas, and surrounding Luzerne and Lackawanna County communities.

You will provide in-home care, assist with daily living, monitor client wellbeing, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals. Flexible shifts (7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 11PM-7AM) and weekly pay offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field a plus.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients with minimal assistance.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centered care to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication management.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition, behavior, or environment to ensure prompt intervention and support.
• Implement care plans and modifications as directed by healthcare professionals to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, discretion, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to expand your skills and knowledge in the care of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
