Home Instead in Tell City, IN is seeking compassionate Care Professionals to help aging adults stay safely at home across Washington/Daviess County. We are hiring immediately with multiple shifts available.

You will provide companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transport support. Paid training is offered; flexible scheduling and career growth opportunities exist. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Personal: treat clients and property with dignity and respect.
• Legal: valid driver’s license or state ID; valid auto insurance if driving clients.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Physical: lift 25 pounds; bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach; adapt to environments.

Responsibilities

• Companionship & Personal Care: Providing companionship and conversation.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues.
• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking.
• Household Support: Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items.
• Light housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, changing linens.
• Washing and ironing laundry.
• Medication reminders and running errands.
• Specialized care: Alzheimer’s/Dementia and Hospice care.
• Reporting: Documenting daily activities and changes and communicating with supervisor.
