Job summary

Caremate Wellness Solutions in Fort Worth, TX is seeking compassionate home care aides to assist clients with activities of daily living in their own homes. The role focuses on promoting health and comfort, following an individualized plan of care, and maintaining safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, meal prep and medication reminders; reporting changes; coordinating with family and the agency; and participating in required trainings to improve service

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of direct caregiving experience required.
• Must be self-directed and service-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills and bedside manner.
• Patience and compassion for elderly/disabled individuals.
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's or willingness to train.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) per plan of care.
• Provide direct non-medical personal care.
• Perform safety and wellness observations each shift and report changes.
• Maintain a safe work and living environment, removing hazards.
• Help family/caregivers with transfer techniques and positioning guidance.
• Complete agency-required training and education opportunities.
• Contribute to service value and agency reputation by taking initiative.
