Job summary

ANGELS HOMECARE SERVICES INC. in Illinois (Rosemont) seeks a compassionate Caregiver to provide personal care, support daily living activities, and help clients maintain independence in their own homes.

You will follow care plans, document observations, assist with meals, light housekeeping, and respond to requests with professionalism. Experience with PCA or similar roles preferred; valid work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States.
• At least one year of caregiving experience.
• Vaccination status documented (vaccinated or unvaccinated acceptable; documentation required prior to client care).
• Flexible availability to work day shifts, including short and irregular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, mobility) per care plan.
• Encourage independence by supporting clients to perform as much personal care as possible.
• Assist with meal preparation and serve meals, respecting dietary needs.
• Observe and document eating habits, physical conditions, and emotional well-being; report changes to supervisor.
• Promote social engagement and participate in leisure activities.
• Maintain accurate daily records, including activities, observations, and incidents.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain clean, safe common areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or client requests according to protocols.

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
