Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking caring companions to provide in-home caregiving across NW Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties. The role offers $16.00 to $18.00 per hour with flexible scheduling and reimbursements for mileage and travel time.

Responsibilities include companionship, ambulation aid, ADL support, meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. Requirements include HS diploma/GED, 6 months PCA experience, CPR recommended, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant.
• State-approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course completed.
• Current CPR certificate is recommended.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Prevent client falls through safety and supervision.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Prepare/cook meals for clients.
• Drive clients to doctor's appointments and errands.
• Light housekeeping.
• Help meet nutritional standards.
• Perform homemaking tasks (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, laundry).
