Job summary

Companion Care Home Care in the United States seeks compassionate caregivers for one-on-one home-based support. You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders and light housekeeping to help clients maintain independence in their homes.

Responsibilities include emergency responsiveness, transportation assistance, meal prep and social activities to support daily living. All shifts including nights and weekends are available, with a supportive team and referral incentives.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve skills.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (showering, bathing, dressing, eating) for elderly or recovering patients.
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside (appointments, walks).
• Assist with meals, personal care, and light physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to run errands.
• Perform housekeeping and report unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Offer activities essential for daily living and meals when needed.
