Job summary

Amada Senior Care North Shore is seeking a compassionate Caregiver in the Wilmette area to provide assistance with daily living activities for seniors. Responsibilities include bathing, meal preparation, and companionship, requiring a minimum of one year of relevant experience. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling. Eligible full-time employees will have access to health insurance, 401(k), and paid training. Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience or equivalent in assisted living or senior care environments.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
• Familiarity with home care systems.
• Background in childcare, social work, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Escort clients to appointments and run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client’s health status.
• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary.

Skills

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
